1. Pre-heat your french press, then discard water before brewing.

2. Add your ground coffee into the brewer, place the brewer on your scale, then tare your scale.

3. Begin timer. Bloom with 400g of water for 1 minute. At 1 minute, break the crust that has formed and stir. We recommend using a wooden utensil so you don’t crack the glass.

4. Pour in the rest of your water until you reach 800g and put the plunger cap on your brewer.

5. Slowly push down the plunger at 4 minutes and 30 seconds.
