1. Place #4 Melitta filter in coffee dripper and rinse filter using hot water, discarding water after rinse.
2. For the 1st pour, add just enough water to saturate the bed of coffee evenly (about 50g).
3. Allow the coffee to bloom undisturbed for about 30 seconds.
4. Start timer and add 300g of water. Stir to make sure the grounds are evenly saturated.
5. After 2 minutes, place the dripper on your mug and wait for the coffee to completely drain.
