This intriguing cup arrives at out roaster doors from the Colbran Family’s Baroida Estate in the Eastern Highlands of Papua New Guinea. Third generation coffee farmers, the Colbran family (the farm managed now by Chris Colbran) has helped the surrounding community by engaging in cherry and parchment purchasing projects as well as building schools. In the cup we are delighted by this coffee’s smooth, coating body. Combining that with aromas of cinnamon, nutmeg, while adding some sweet winey fruit notes, and you have found the epitome of a uniquely triumphant flavor profile.
